Beach, dunes and nature around Ouddorp
Breeze21 is a convenient base for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors: visit local markets and fishing villages, explore the Delta Works, head to the beach, walk through the dunes or enjoy the surrounding nature. The mild climate makes the South Holland islands attractive for watersports, cycling and beach walks in spring and autumn as well. For a more active day, head to the Brouwersdam, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the extensive dunes and salt marshes of De Kwade Hoek.
Beaches
The Kop van Goeree-Overflakkee is known for its exceptionally wide beaches and spacious beach access points with free parking nearby. Thanks to Ouddorp’s central location, there is always a suitable beach within easy reach, whatever the wind direction.
Birds and nature
The coastal area and nature reserves around Ouddorp are particularly appealing to nature lovers. The salt marshes and tidal flats of the Haringvliet and Grevelingen are home to seals and numerous species of waterbirds.
Brouwersdam
The Brouwersdam and its North Sea beach are popular with kitesurfers, surfers and other active watersports enthusiasts. A little closer to Breeze21 is Ouddorp’s quiet naturist beach (FKK), near the relaxed beach pavilion Het Gorsje.
